What is happening?

C38B – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C38b – 27.10.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 27.10.25 for 21 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C38b.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during gas upgrade works. An alternative route is available via the C38B, C56B, A90 and vice versa.
