Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A25 High Street, Seal, TN15 0BB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of water supply pipe repairs, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A25 High Street, Seal, on or after 2nd November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 26B High Street.
The alternative route is via A25 High Street, A25 Seal Road, A225 Otford Road, A225 Sevenoaks Road, A225 Station Road, A225 Shoreham Road, A225 Station Road, A225 High Street, A225 Eynsford Road, A20 Main Road, A20 Gorse Hill, A20 London Road, A227 Wrotham By-pass, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Western Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Borough Green Road, A25 Ightham By-pass, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Maidstone Road and vice versa.
Church Road, Halstead, TN14 7EB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Halstead, on or after 27th October 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Dunollie.
The alternative route is via Knockholt Road, Halstead Lane, Rushmore Hill, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Stonehouse Road, Stonehouse Lane, Church Road and vice versa.
Downsview Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 2JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of a new telegraph pole, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Downsview Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 27th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Brittains Lane and Downsview Road westwards.
The alternative route is via Brittains Lane, Downsview Road and vice versa.
Harrow Road, Old London Road, Knockholt & Star Hill, Dunton Green, TN14 7JJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the laying of a new infrastructure water main, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Harrow Road, Old London Road, Knockholt and Star Hill, Dunton Green.
Harrow Road is planned from 10th November 2025 to 19th December 2025.
Old London Road is planned from 5th January 2026 to 8th March 2026.
Star Hill Road is planned from 9th March 2026 to 31st May 2026.
Harrow Road will be closed between Chevening Lane and Old London Road.
Old London Road will be closed between number 1 and Star Hill Road.
Star Hill Road will be closed between Old London Road and Fort Halstead.
The alternative route for Harrow Road is via Old London Road, Main Road, Harrow Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for Old London Road is via Main Road, Halstead Lane, Knockholt Road, Shoreham Lane, A224 London Road, A224 Polhill and vice versa.
The alternative route for Star Hill Road is via Old London Road, Main Road, Halstead Lane, Knockholt Road, Shoreham Lane, A224 London Road, A224 Polhill and vice versa.
Hever Road, Edenbridge, TN8 7LD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of BT pole replacement and pole testing, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Road, Edenbridge, on or after 13th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Delaware Cottages.
The alternative route is via Hever Road, Uckfield Lane, Buckhurst, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill/Hartfield Road/Mill Hill and vice versa.
Long Barn Road, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Long Barn Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 10th November 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bochans.
The alternative route is via Long Barn Road, Hale Oak Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Camp Hill, Coppings Road, Scabharbour Road, Glebe Road, Windmill Road and vice versa.
New Street Road, Hodsoll Street, TN15 7JY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new BT customer service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Street Road, Hodsoll Street, on or after 11th November 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Rectory Road heading Southbound for approx 250M.
The alternative route is via Bunkers Hill Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
Pinden, South Darenth, DA2 8EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pinden, South Darenth, on or after 13th November 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 230m north of the junction with Rabbits Road.
The alternative route is via Canada Farm Road, B260 Green Street Green Road, Fawkham Road, Valley Road, Scudders Hill and vice versa.
Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, on or after 27th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2027 Bough Beech Road and Homewood Road.
The alternative route is via B2027 Bough Beech Road, Homewood Road and vice versa.
Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, on or after 10th November 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Blackmoor House.
The alternative route is via B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2042 Ide Hill Road, B2042 Green Lane, Roodlands Lane and vice versa.
Toys Hill, Brasted, TN16 1QG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Toys Hill, Brasted, on or after 27th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Emmetts Lane and the drive for Weardale.
The alternative route is via Toys Hill, B2042 Green Lane, B2042 Ide Hill Road, B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill, B2042 Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Main Road, A25 High Street, Chart Lane and vice versa.
