The above Order, made on 15 October 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by upgrading public rights of way Footpath Ryton 21 and Footpath Ryton 27 to Bridleway Ryton 112 and Bridleway Ryton 113. The route is approximately 1010 metres in length with a width of 3 metres and commences south of Stephen's Hall, grid reference NZ15586270, proceeding north along the farm track on the west side of Stephen's Hall to the junction south east of Stephen's Hall North Farm, continuing in a northerly direction along the edge of the fields, across the Ryton/Crawcrook Bypass to Cushy Cow Lane, grid reference NZ15666367. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough Council of Gateshead, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
