THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL(MOOR LANE, BRAMCOTE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025 (BX25-181)

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting between 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs Monday to Saturday in the following length of road
2. Moor Lane, Bramcote - West Side - From its junction
with A52, Derby Road, Bramcote Northwards for 310metres
3. Moor Lane, Bramcote - West Side - From a point 14m South of its junction with Deans Croft Southwards for 37metres
4. Moor Lane, Bramcote - West Side - From a point
15m North of its junction with Deans Croft Northwards for 19metres
5. Moor Lane, Bramcote - East Side - From a point
10m north of its junction with Deans Croft Northwards for 40metres
6. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
7. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From Monday 20th October 2025
Until Monday 1st March 2027 inclusive.
The Order will come into force on Monday 20th October 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed.
The prohibition is required to enable The White Hills Park Trust Ltd to carry out construction works at the Bramcote College.
