What is happening?

Salford City Council proposes to make the CITY OF SALFORD (SANDIWAY, SANDY LANE AND CHAPEL ROAD, HIGHER IRLAM AND PEEL GREEN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following: NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: Chapel Road north side, from Sandy Lane for 10m in a westerly direction. Sandy Lane both sides, from its junction with Chapel Road to a point 10m north of Sandiway. Sandiway (i) north side, from Sandy Lane in an easterly and then north easterly direction for 25m (ii) south side, from Sandy Lane in an easterly and then north easterly direction for 36m (measured along the kerbline of Sandiway). A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
