THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEATEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES SYDNEY STREET

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends
to make an Order under
The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Schedule 1 – Section 14 (1)(A) and all other
enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or
waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain
access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way
raffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
 ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.
Sydney Street to be closed at the junction of Fulham
Road to outside of number 15 Sydney Street.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Friday 24 th October
2025 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 2nd November 2025,
with a backup dates of Friday 21 st November 2025
until Sunday 30 th November 2025, or until the works
are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Fulham Road, Old
Church Street, King's Road, Sydney Street, or Fulham
Road, Sloane Avenue, Cale Street, Sydney Street, or
Sydney Street, King's Road, Old Church Street, Fulham
Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the
permission of, or at the
direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic
warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used
for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the
purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
