CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE (OUSEBURN ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
What is happening?
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice, to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to
prohibit any traffic To proceed on Ouseburn Road,
from its junction with Springbank Road, northwards
for 797 metres.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on
site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried
out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles and
personnel engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 3
November 2025 and will continue, as and when
the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 7
November 2025 or until the proposed works are
completed, whichever is the earlier.
