What is happening?

RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng, rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd Stryd y Farchnad, Caergybi. Mae angen y Gorchymyn i gloddio ‘joint track bay’ yn y ffordd gerbydau a thrac 1.5m yn y llwybr droed i osod cebl. Y ffordd arall fydd o ben deheuol y cau. Ewch ymlaen i gyfeiriad y gogledd orllewin ar hyd Stryd Thomas i’r gyffordd â Stryd Williams a throwch i’r dde. Ymlaen i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain ar Stryd Williams i ben arall y cau. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 2il Tachwedd 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 2il Tachwedd 2025.


NOTICE OF INTENTION
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
(MARKET STREET, HOLYHEAD) ORDER NO.3 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Market Street, Holyhead.
The Order is necessary to excavate joint bay track in carriageway and 1.5m track in footway to install cable.
The alternative route will be from the southern end of closure. Proceed in a north westerly direction along Thomas Street to the junction with Williams Street and turn right. The proceed in a north easterly direction along Williams Street to the opposite end of the closure. The Order comes into effect on 2nd November 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 2nd November 2025.
