What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council made
the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
The title and affect of the Orders will be as follows, City
Of Manchester (Eastlands Area) (Prohibition And
Restriction Of Waiting And Loading, Limited Waiting
Parking Places, Residents Parking And Revocation)
(Amendment NO.2) Order 2025 No Waiting At Any
Time: James Street - NW side from a point 25m NE of its
junction with Nelson St in a northeasterly direction for a
distance of 30m. Sawley Rd - NW side from a point 27m
NE of its junction with Filby Walk ina northeasterly direction
for a distance of 33m. The NW from a point 10m NE of its
junction with Filby Walk in a south westerly direction to a
point 15m. SW of its junction with Filby Walk. The NW side
from a point 43m NE of Bednal Ave in a northeasterly
direction for a distance of 25m. No Loading At Any Time:
Sawley Rd - NW side from a point 10m NE east of its
junction with Filby Walk in a south westerly direction to
a point 15m SW of its junction with Filby Walk. Limited
Waiting Parking Places, Limited Waiting 90 Minutes, No
Return Within 4 Hours 12pm-11pm Monday to Friday.
James St – NW side from a point 5m NE of its
junction with Nelson St in a northeasterly direction for a
distance of 20m. Sawley Rd - NW side from a point
10m NE of its junction with Bednal Ave in a northeasterly
direction for a distance of 33m. Sawley Rd - NW side
from a point 15m SW of its junction with Filby Walk in a
southwesterly direction for a distance of 39m. Sawley Rd
- NW side from a point 10m NE of its junction with Filby
Walk in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 17m. No
Loading/Unloading Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm:
Sawley Road - NW side from a point 27m northeast of
its junction with Filby Walk in a northeasterly direction for
a distance of 33m. The NW side from a point 43m NE
Bednal Ave in a northeasterly direction for a distance of
25m. City Of Manchester (Eastland's Area) (One Way
Traffic) Order 2025 One Way Traffic on: ACCESS RD
OFF SAWLEY RD - From its northeastern most junction
with Sawley Rd In a south easterly, S westerly and then
N westerly direction to its southwestern most junction
with Sawley Rd. City Of Manchester (Various School
Entrances, Manchester)(Prohibition And Restriction
Of Waiting, Restriction Of Loading And Prohibition Of
Stopping And Amendment) (Order 2005) Amendment
No. 27) Order 2025 No Stopping out side school entrances
8.00am to 5.00pm on: Orchard House High School,
Sawley Road - SE side from a point 23m NE of the
extended easterly kerbline of Filby Walk in a N easterly
direction for a distance of 37m. SE side from a point 45m
NE of the extended easterly kerbline of Bednal Ave in a
N easterly direction for a distance of 37m. The SE side
from a point 82m NE of the extended easterly kerbline of
Bednal Ave in a N easterly direction for a distance of 31 m.
SE side from a point 8 metres south west of the extended
westerly kerbline of Filby Walk in a N easterly direction
for a distance of 37 metres. Existing Orders have been
amended to be consistent with the proposals. The Orders
will come into operation on the 17th October 2025. Copy
of the made Orders together with the plans showing the
proposals may be inspected at Customer Service Centre
Ground Floor, Town Hall, Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav.
use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm
on Mon - Fri. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the
Orders or any provision contained in them on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or
of any instrument made under it has not been complied
with in relation to the Orders may within 6 weeks from 14th
October 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
