(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be;
i) prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along OAKHURST ROAD between its junction with Hillcrest Road and its junction with Birmingham Road.
ii) prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along BIRMINGHAM ROAD SERVICE ROAD between its junction with Woodleigh Road and its junction with Oakhurst Road.
iii) prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along MARCHMOUNT ROAD between its junction with Oakhurst Road and its junction with Woodleigh Road.
iv) prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along WOODLEIGH ROAD between its junction with Birmingham Road and its junction with Hillcrest Road.
v) prohibit any vehicle from stopping on the west side of HILLCREST ROAD between its junction with Woodleigh Road and a point opposite property no 30 Hillcrest Road.
The temporary Order is required to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by this Order will be signposted and access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 25th October 2025 and will remain in force for a period of three months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
