What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.S 32,35,36,38,39 ALREWAS PARISH
AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 9 KINGS BROMLEY PARISH (PART)
FROM (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 14th October 2025 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Rights of Way:
That length of Public Footpath No. 32 Alrewas Parish from the junction of A513 for 120m in a North Easterly direction until the junction with Public Footpath No. 35 Alrewas.
That length of Public Footpath No. 35 Alrewas Parish from the junction of A513 for 290m in an easterly direction until junction with track at Orgreave.
That length of Public Footpath No. 36 Alrewas Parish from T junction at Orgreave in a North Westerly direction for 520m until the junction with Public Footpath No. 38 Alrewas and Public Footpath No. 9 Kings Bromley.
That length of Public Footpath No. 38 Alrewas Parish from the junction of Public Footpath No. 35 Alrewas and Public Footpath No. 9 Kings Bromley for 2300m until the junction of Public Footpath No. 1 Alrewas.
That length of Public Footpath No. 39 Alrewas Parish from the junction of A513 South Westerly direction for 160m until the junction of the track East of Wellfield Farm.
That length of Public Footpath No. 9 Kings Bromley Parish (Part) from junction with Footpath No. 0.387 Kings Bromley for 940m in a South Easterly Direction until the junction with Public Footpath No. 36 Alrewas and Public Footpath No. 38 Alrewas.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to Severn Trent Water pipe laying taking place. A plan will be displayed on site to show length of paths to be closed.
This Order will come into operation on 15th October 2025 and will remain in force for a period of six months, or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 16/10/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:
Stubbs Gate, Newcastle Under Lyme. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=145106728. The Order will come into operation on 27/10/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/11/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
