DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DUFFIELD BANK, DUFFIELD
What is happening?
WHEN: 05 November 2025
WHERE: Duffield Bank, Duffield between its Jct. with Makeney Road and its Jct. with Red Lane.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to telecommunications apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Eaton Bank, Duffield Road, B6179 Alfreton Road/ Derby Road, A609 Rawson Green / Belper Road / Kilburn Lane, Sandbed Lane, Belper Road, Makeney Road, Red Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
