What is happening?

has made the:
CITY OF MANCHESTER (OXFORD PLACE)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LIMITED WAITING
PARKING PLACE, AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be the following:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Oxford Place: (i) the north side From the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres, (ii) the north side From a point 61 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iii) the north side From a point 88 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres.
LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACE ALL DAYS 7AM MIDNIGHT NO RETURN WITHIN 3 HOURS, WAITING LIMITED TO 3 HOURS:
Oxford Place: (i) Oxford Place northside 30 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction for 31 metres having a width of 1.8 metres, (ii) northside 71 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction for 17 metres having a width of 1.8 metres, (iii) northside 97 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Oxney Road in an easterly direction to a point 12 metres west of the extended western kerb line of Lower Park Road having a width of 1.8 metres.
The Order will come into effect on 20th October 2025.
A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected by appointment at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday. Please email or write into address below for a copy of documents. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 7th October 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
