What is happening?

ZEBRA, PELICAN AND PUFFIN PEDESTRIAN
CROSSINGS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL
DIRECTION 1997 PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING,
KENSINGTON ROAD CHORLTON

NOTICE is hereby given that Council of the City of Manchester, in exercise of its powers under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, intend to place a new Zebra Crossing on Kensington Road, Chorlton, 2.8 metres wide & 7.0 metres long, 12.5 metres southeast and 20.7 metres northwest of the mid-point of the crossing. The mid-point of the crossing will be located 12.6 metres northwest of the extended westerly kerb line of Oswald Road.
The relevant plan and a statement of the reasons for the proposal may be inspected by appointment at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday. Please write to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below for a copy of the documents. Comments on the proposal should be sent to me in writing, no later than 10th November 2025. Please quote reference: L/VMU/HIG002/84173
