What is happening?

proposes to make the:
CITY OF MANCHESTER (KENSINGTON ROAD
AND OSWALD ROAD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING,
LOADING/UNLOADING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER
2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Kensington Road: (i) the north-east side from its junction with Oswald Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (ii) the north-east side from its junction with Oswald Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iii) the south-west side from its junction with Oswald Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iv) the south west side from its junction with Oswald Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Oswald Road: (i) the east side from its junction with Kensington Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (ii) the east side from its junction with Kensington Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres, (iii) the west side from its junction with Kensington Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iv) the west side from its junction with Kensington Road in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 12 metres.
NO LOADING AT ANY TIME:
Kensington Road: (i) the north-east side from its junction with Oswald Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (ii) the north-east side from its junction with Oswald Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iii) the south-west side from it junction with Oswald Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iv) the south west side from its junction with Oswald Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Oswald Road: (i) the east side from its junction with Kensington Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 12 metres, (ii) the east side from its junction with Kensington Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres, (iii) the west side from its junction with Kensington Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 12 metres, (iv) the west side from its junction with Kensington Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
Existing Orders shall be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a statement of reasons and plans showing the proposals may be inspected by appointment at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please email or write into address below for a copy of documents.
