THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (Various Roads in Warlingham) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
What is happening?
On 14 October 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-named Order, under section 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to impose a 20mph speed limit on the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice. The speed limit proposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011.
A copy of the made Order, which will come into operation on 20 October 2025 and a copy of the Order to be revoked, together with the plan showing the length of road to which this Order relates and a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected free of charge at (1) Warlingham Library, Shelton Avenue, Warlingham, Surrey, CR6 9NF; and (2) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7BQ, by appointment only;
Schedule
(1) that length of Limpsfield Road (B269) Warlingham as extends from its junction with (D1345) Shelton Avenue to its junction with
(D1348) Chapel Road;
(2) that length of Westhall Road (B270) Warlingham as extends from its junction with (B269) The Green to a point 15 metres northeast of its junction with (D1348) Leas Road;
(3) the entire length of The Green (B269) Warlingham;
(4) the entire length of Glebe Road (D1347) Warlingham;
(5) the entire length of Elm Road (D1347) Warlingham; and
(6) the entire length of Elm Close (D1347) Warlingham.
