THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(TILN LANE AREA, RETFORD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (1334)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Retford in the District of Bassetlaw:

1. Proposed prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -

ELMWOOD CLOSE, RETFORD (both sides)  From its junction with Tiln Lane in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres

RICHMOND ROAD, RETFORD (the north-west side)  From its junction with Tiln Lane in a north-easterly direction for 10 metres

RICHMOND ROAD, RETFORD (the south-east side)  From its junction with Tiln Lane in a north-easterly direction for 12 metres

THE SHETLANDS, RETFORD (both sides)  From its junction with Tiln Lane in an easterly direction for 10 metres

TILN LANE, RETFORD (the east side)  From a point 10 metres north of its junction with Elmwood Close in a southerly direction to a point 10 metres south of that junction 

From a point 10 metres north of its junction with Richmond Road in a southerly direction to a point 12 metres south of that junction 

From a point 10 metres north of its junction with The Shetlands in a southerly direction to a point 10 metres south of that junction

The proposals are designed to prevent parking at these junctions which is causing issues with visibility.
