What is happening?
Greenlees Road, Cambuslang
Temporary Road Closure Order 2025
On 6 October 2025 South Lanarkshire Council made
the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will
make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or
permit to be driven any motor vehicle on Greenlees
Road, Cambuslang, between East Greenlees Road
and East Kilbride Road A749. The Order will be in
operation from 7.30am 3 November 2025 until
5pm 28 November 2025.
Greenlees Road will be closed from East Greenlees
Road to East Kilbride Road A749, in three phases.
No two sections will be closed concurrently.
Phase 1 – East Greenlees Road to Greenlees Way
Phase 2 – Greenlees Way to Lochmaben Crescent
Phase 3 – Lochmaben Crescent to
East Kilbride Road A749
Alternative route: Greenlees Road, Western Road,
East Kilbride Road A729 (vice versa)
