ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL (CLASS III ROAD KNOWN AS BUSH ROAD, Y FELINHELI) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made
an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of
Class III Road known as Bush Road, Y Felinheli from its junction with
Brynffynnon Road travelling north easterly up to the junction with
Gwylan Uchaf, Y Felinheli.
The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public
during works on behalf of Scottish Power.
The alternative route is to travel south westerly on Brynffynnon
Road then turn left at the junction with Tai Helen. Follow this road in
a south westerly direction. At the junction with Tafarngrisiau Road,
turn left to travel south westerly and turn left at the junction with the
Road from the Road leading to Felinheli to the south of Tan y Buarth.
Travel on this road in a south easterly direction up to the junction
with the B4366. Turn left to travel north easterly. At the junction by
Gors Bach Inn, Llanddeiniolen, turn left to travel north westerly up
to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite
direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 20th of October, 2025 and will
continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the
work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed,
whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work
will be completed within approximately 12 days.

Brynffynnon gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol hyd at

troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol a throi i’r chwith
yn y gyffordd gyda’r Ffordd o’r Ffordd sy’n arwain i’r Felinheli
i’r de o Tan y Buarth. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de
ddwyreiniol hyd at y gyfordd gyda’r B4366. Troi i’r chwith i deithio
mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol. Yn y gyffordd ger Gors Bach
Inn, Llanddieniolen, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd
orllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd
yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar yr 20fed o Hydref, 2025 a bydd yn
parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes
y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag
fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o
fewn tua 12 diwrnod.
