What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Dunham Bridge Company has applied to the Secretary of State for Transport for an Order under the
Dunham Bridge Act 1830 (as amended by the Dunham Bridge (Amendment) Act 1994 and the Transport Charges &c. (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Act 1954 to revise the maximum tolls authorised to be charged on the Dunham Bridge as follows:-
Please note that all charges exclude VAT (currently 20%).
Any person having a substantial interest may, not later than 42 days after first publication of this notice, object to the application by
giving notice to the Secretary of State, Department for Transport, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne
NE99 5FQ or by email to nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk marked for the attention of Sandra Zamenzadeh, stating the grounds of their
objection and sending a copy of that objection to the Company Secretary at Dunham Bridge, Dunham Road, Newton on Trent, Lincoln
LN1 2JR or by email to cosec@dunhambridge.co.uk. Please note that the terms of any objection may be communicated to other persons.
It is not the Company’s intention to implement the above changes in toll charges before 1st August 2026.
