CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (VARIOUS ROADS, MOUNTSORREL)
(AMENDMENT 10) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be: - To revoke a short section of no waiting at any time restrictions on Bond Lane and Loughborough Road, Mountsorre To impose No Waiting at Any Time on parts of The Homestead and Windmill Close, Mountsorrel
It having been proposed by notice dated 2nd April 2025 that Residents Permit Parking Restrictions be introduced on Loughborough Road, Crown Lane and Watling Street, following consideration of objections and due to lack of support, all reference to Residents Permit Parking Restrictions on the above mentioned roads is removed from the order now made. The Order will come into force on the twentieth day of October 2025. A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA. The Order can also be viewed online at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/roads-and-travel/ cars-and-parking/traffic management-consultations
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
