Somerset Council Parish of Chilthorne Domer Temporary Closure of Vagg Lane

What is happening?

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Vagg Lane - from 61 metres south of the junction with Kings Hill, southwards for a total distance of 110 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works. The Order becomes effective on 16th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th October 2025 and last until 24th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
