SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDERS

FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make following orders:

(STR001220) Pentylands Lane, Highworth

This Order is being introduced for THAMES WATER and will impose a prohibition of driving on Pentylands Lane between junction with Blackworth Roundabout to sewage works. Traffic to be diverted via Grove Hill and Lechlade Road. Access to be maintained. The Order comes into force on the 24 October 2025 for 6 months, but it is expected that works will be completed by the 6 December 2025.

(STR001143) Collett Avenue, Rodbourne Cheney

This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Collett Avenue between Northern Road and Somerset Road. Traffic to be diverted via Northern Avenue, Churchward Avenue, B4006 Vicarage Road and Somerset Road. The Order comes into force on the 5 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place between 5 to 11 November 2025.

(STR001147) Pewsham Road, Penhill

This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Pewsham Road and Wilcot Avenue between Durnford Road and Lacock Road. ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS TO BE MAINTAINED. The Order comes into force on the 5 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place between 5 to 11 November 2025.

(STR001148) Shrivenham Road, Swindon

This Order is being introduced for SBC RESURFACING WORKS and will impose a prohibition of driving on Shrivenham Road at the junction with Ocotal Way. Traffic to be diverted via Stratton Road, Swindon Road (Southbound), Greenbridge Roundabout, Drakes Way (Southeast bound), Ocotal Way, Shrivenham Road. The Order comes into force on the 11 November 2025 for 12 months, but works are expected to take place between 11 to 17 November 2025.
