What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2065 Brockamin, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Order
To close that part of C2065 Brockamin from its junction with U62232 Brockamin Lane to its junction with C2064 Suckley Road.
Reason: Void investigation and repair by WCC.
Alternative route: C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford, C2064 Suckley Road, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Ashfields, C2245 Hopton Lane, C2065 Hopton Lane to Brockamin, C2065 Brockamin (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 13th October 2025.
(C2065 Brockamin, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Proposed Order:
To close that part of C2065 Brockamin from its junction with U62232 Brockamin Lane to its junction with C2064 Suckley Road.
Reason: Drainage work for flood alleviation by WCC.
Alternative route: C2065 Brockamin to A4103 Bransford, C2064 Suckley Road, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Ashfields, C2245 Hopton Lane, C2065 Hopton Lane to Brockamin, C2065 Brockamin (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days.
Commencing: 3rd November 2025.
(U61027 Longdon Hill End, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Proposed Order:
To close that part of U61027 Longdon Hill End from its junction with C2098 Welland Stone to its junction with C2098 Castlemorton.
Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2098 Welland Stone, C2098 Castlemorton and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 4th November 2025.

To close that part of C2098 Welland Stone from its junction with U61413 Castlemorton for a distance of 200 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Pole replacement by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2098 Castlemorton, C2098 Church Road, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Birtsmorton, C2110 Birts Street, C2110 Birtsmorton, C2111 Birtsmorton, C2111 Longdon Marsh, B4211 Longdon, B4211 Holdfast, C2098 Longdon

(U61203 Gilvers Lane/U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane/ U61203 Brotheridge Green, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025 Proposed Order:
To close that part of Closure 1 - U61203 Gilvers Lane from its junction with U61203 Brotheridge Green for a distance of 70 metres in a north westerly direction.
Closure 2 - U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane from its junction with U61203 Gilvers Lane for a distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction.
Closure 3 - U61203 Brotheridge Green from its junction with U61203 Gilvers Lane for a distance of 250 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Openreach.
Alternative route: Diversion 1 - U61203 Gilvers Lane (part), C2054 Welland, C2099 Welland, U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane (part) and vice versa.
Diversion 2 - U61203 Brotheridge Green (part), U61203 Hanley Castle, B4211 Hanley Road, A4104 High Street, C2099 New Street, C2099 Mill Lane, C2099 Upper Hook Road, C2099 Hook Common, U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 4th November 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath CM-570, Castlemorton)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close Footpath CM-570, Castlemorton for its entire length.
The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U61401 School Road, C2098 Church Road, Footpath CM-569 in Castlemorton.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 23rd September 2025.
