MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 erbyn dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A483, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Cylchfan Tal-y-bont a Chei’r Trallwng, Powys.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd (ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys, ar gyfer y gwaith neu bethau gwasanaethau cynnal a chadw y gwaith) a phob beiciwr rhag mynedi i’r darn o gefnffordd yr A483 sy’n ymestyn o ochr ogleddol Cylchfan Tal-y-bont hyd at Gyffordd Wern, Cei’r Trallwng.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd fydd mynd ar yr A458 tua’r dwyrain, o Gylchfan Tal-y-bont i Gylchfan Churncote, yr A5 tua’r gogledd-orllewin i Gyffordd Mile End, Crossoswell at’r A483 tua’r de: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 27 Hydref 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn bennaf dros nos (19:00 o’r gloch hyd 07:00 o’r gloch) ar 27 Hydref 2021 tan 22 Rhagfyr 2025, neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud yn barhaol.

Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar fwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiadau am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gyneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.

THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (BUTTINGTON ROUNDABOUT TO WERN JUNCTION, POOL QUAY, POWYS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES & CYCLISTS) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A483 trunk road between Buttington Roundabout and Pool Quay, Powys.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles (other than those being used by the emergency services, for the works or winter maintenance service vehicles) and cyclists from proceeding on the length of the A483 trunk road that extends from the northern side of Buttington Roundabout to Wern Junction, Pool Quay.

The alternative route for northbound traffic will be via the eastbound A458 from Buttington Roundabout to Churncote Roundabout, north-westbound A5 to Mile End Roundabout, Oswestry and southbound A483: vice versa for southbound traffic.

The Order will come into force on 27 October 2025. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate mostly overnight (19:00 – 07:00 hours) from 27 October until 22 December 2025, or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.

Although the Order is only expected to be in force during the period specified above, it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required. Notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work begins.
