Hillend Road, Clarkston - Temporary Road Closure due to Footway Resurfacing Works

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD
ORDER 2025
On the 3rd October 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Hillend Road, Clarkston between the junctions with Sundale Avenue to Glendoune Road, in order to facilitate the essential footway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried out from 27th October to 5th December 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route: Craighill Drive – Sundale Avenue and vice-versa.
