(CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.9) ORDER 2025

WALLBANK DRIVE AREA, HEATON

NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Orders on 7 October 2025 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to introduce the following restrictions on lengths of roads in the Heaton Ward:

  1. 20mph on the full length of Wallbank Drive, Shipley Fields Road, Fenton Fold, Clare Fold and Dudley Close;

  2. 20mph on Wharncliffe Road from its junction with Wallbank Drive to a point 32 metres north-east from its junction with Briarfield Gardens; and

  3. no waiting at any time on lengths of Wallbank Drive, Shipley Fields Road, Fenton Fold, Clare Fold, Dudley Close, Wharncliffe Road and Valley Road.

The Orders come into force on 13 October 2025. Copies of the Orders together with documents that give more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford. quoting reference number HS/TRSS/106029-CON-1A.

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the relevant Order was made (i.e. from 7 October 2025) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
