ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A646 NEW ROAD, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (DE-RESTRICTED ROAD) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 07 October 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Sections 82(2) and 83(2) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce de-restricted road status (national speed limit will apply) on A646 New Road, Burnley, from a point 197 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Glen View Road to its junction with A671 Todmorden Road/A646 Burnley Road.
This Order will come into force on the 20 October 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 9SA, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
