NOTICE OF MAKING
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(WOODPLUMPTON ROAD, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 07 October 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a 30mph speed limit on Woodplumpton Road (U4942), Burnley, from its junction with Glen View Road to its junction with New Road (A646).

This Order will come into force on the 20 October 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 9SA, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
