NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DUDDLE LANE, WALTON LE DALE, SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGH) (ROAD HUMPS)



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose to introduce road humps in the following locations:
1) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 31 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Brownedge Road for a distance of 3m in a north westerly direction;
2) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 17 metres south east of its junction with the centreline of Fountains Reach for a distance of 3m in a south easterly direction;
3) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 11 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Fountains Reach for a distance of 3m in a north westerly direction;
4) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 8 metres north of its junction with the centreline of St Mary's Avenue for a distance of 3m in a northerly direction;
5) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 50 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Danes Drive for a distance of 3m in a northerly direction;
6) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 9 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Danes Drive for a distance of 3m in a northerly direction;
7) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 29 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of Coniston Drive (southern extent) for a distance of 3m in a north easterly direction;
8) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 122 metres south west of its junction with the centreline of Severn Drive for a distance of 3m in a south westerly direction;
9) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 66 metres south west of its junction with the centreline of Severn Drive for a distance of 3m in a south westerly direction;
10) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 25 metres south west of its junction with the centreline of Severn Drive for a distance of 3m in a south westerly direction;
11) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 25 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Severn Drive for a distance of 3m in a northerly direction;
12) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 26 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Coniston Drive (northern extent) for a distance of 3m in a northerly direction;
13) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 46 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of Selkirk Drive for a distance of 3m in a north easterly direction;
14) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, from a point 108 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of Selkirk Drive for a distance of 3m in a north easterly direction.

The road humps will have a maximum height not exceeding 75mm.

A copy of the relevant notice and plan, indicating the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
