Wallsall, Various Roads - Temporary Traffic Prohibition

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles from proceeding in the lengths of carriageway specified in schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2.

And, prevent any vehicles proceeding in the length of:
CLEEVE WAY, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Pershore Road to outside property numbers 9 and 12. (Monday 10 November 2025 to Wednesday 12 November 2025).
Reason for Order: Repair communication pipe.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.
DANGERFIELD LANE, DARLASTON that is situated from its junction with Victory Avenue to outside property 157. (09:30 – 14:30) (Saturday 8 November 2025). Reason for Order: Repair defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
FIELD STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated from its junction with Memorial Close to its junction with Stafford Street. (Monday 27 October 2025 to Sunday 2 November 2025).
Reason for Order: Section 278 works/zebra crossing installation.
Works on behalf of: Four Shires Contracting Ltd.
FRYERS ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated from its junction with Croxstalls Road to its junction with Fryers Close. (Monday 3 November 2025 to Sunday 16 November 2025)
Reason for Order: Section 278 works.
Works on behalf of: Encyclis (Walsall) Ltd.
HAWTHORN ROAD, WALSALL that is situated at its junction with Walstead Road. (Monday 27 October 2025 to Sunday 2 November 2025).
Reason for Order: Gas main replacement.
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas.
ARUNDEL STREET, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with West Bromwich Street to its junction with Windsor Street. (Monday 3 November 2025 to Friday 14 November 2025).
Reason for Order: Gas main replacement.
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas.
BUTTS ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Teddesley Street to its junction with Butts Street. (09:00 – 15:00) (Friday 31 October 2025 to Saturday 1 November 2025).
Reason for Order: Zebra crossing refurb.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.
MILL LANE, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Borneo Street to its junction with The Cutting. Access will be maintained at its junction with Cecil Street. (09:30 – 15:30) (Friday 7 November 2025).

This ORDER will come into operation on Monday 27 October 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
