What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 14 October 2025 Wolverhampton City Council made
the following Order under Sections 1, 2, and 124(1)(d) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which come into operation on
24 October 2025 is as follows:
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (TETTENHALL) (PROHIBITION AND
RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO 1)
ORDER 2025
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to:
(i) wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of
Craddock Street, Dunstall Avenue, Dunstall Hill and Dunstall Road.
(ii) wait at any time on any day in parts of Dunstall Avenue, Dunstall Hill, Dunstall Road
and Waterloo Road.
(iii) wait for a period longer than 1 hour with no return within 1 hour at any time on any day
in parts of Dunstall Road and Staveley Road.
(iv) wait at any time on any day in the loading area unless such waiting is necessary to
enable goods to be loaded on or unloaded from the vehicle in connection with
adjoining trade or business premises for a period no longer than 30 minutes with no
return within 1 hour in parts of Craddock Street, Dunkley Street and Hordern Road.
(v) wait during match day times unless a valid permit/voucher is displayed (loading
restriction to revert back to match day parking restriction) in parts of Dunstall Road; as
specified on the Plan.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the
provisions of this Order.
A copy of the Order, Statement of Reason and Plans showing the parts of the roads
affected by the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at Main Reception,
Civic Centre, St Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton or viewed online at

or by using the QR Code below, or by emailing

commercial.property@wolverhampton.gov.uk.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, on the grounds that it is not
within the powers of the relevant section of the Act or on the ground that any requirement of
those sections of the Act or of Parts I to III and IV of Schedule 9 to
the Act or any regulation under the said Part III has not been
complied with may, within six weeks of 14 October 2025 make an
application for the purpose to the High Court.
