(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
MIDDLETON ST GEORGE FOOTPATH 12
Darlington Borough Council made an Order on 22nd April 2025, under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which was to close:
MIDDLETON ST GEORGE FOOTPATH 12
From the north side of the A67 northwards to its end at Mill Lane
The Order is necessary due to a damaged footbridge.
As the works are still ongoing the Secretary of State for Transport has granted an extension of the Order until 27th April 2026 or until such time as the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
