What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, East Hauxwell Village Roads, East Hauxwell Order 2025 No 352,

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using East Hauxwell Village Roads, East Hauxwell due to Yorkshire Water main renewal works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 13/10/25 until 24/10/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be from 13/10/25 until 13/01/26.

The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. All enquiries to: Yorkshire Water - 0345 124 2424

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, West Green, Stokesley, Order 2025 No 356

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using West Green, Stokesley due to footway slurry sealing works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 16/10/25 until 22/10/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be for 18 months. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Springfield, Stokesley, Order 2025 No 357

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Springfield, Stokesley due to Footway Slurry Sealing. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 17/10/25 until 23/10/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be for 18 months. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Langthwaite to Tan Hill, Langthwaite, Order 2025 No 360

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Langthwaite to Tan Hill, Langthwaite due to Culvert repair works between Whaw junction and The Stang junction. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 13/10/25 until 24/10/25 inclusive, however the maximum duration of this Order will be for 13/10/25 until 01/04/27. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. 20 Mph & 40 Mph Speed Limits, Various Roads, Low Worsall & High Worsall, Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any length of road specified below:–

In the Parish of Low Worsall 20mph:

Village Road, For its entirety.

Tofts Close, For its entirety.

Manor Close, For its entirety.

De Brus Close, For its entirety.

Church Lane, From its junction with Village Road in an westerly direction for 169 metres.

In the Parish of High Worsall 40mph:

Church Lane, From a point 169 metres west from its junction with Village Road in a westerly direction for 702 metres.

U1903/1/50, For its entirety.

A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at 3 Church Lane, Yarm, TS15 9QB during normal office hours from 10/10/25 until 31/10/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map
