Buckinghamshire - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road and Footpath Closures due to Works

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Two Dells Ln, Ashley Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Two Dells Ln for approx. 1960M.

Alternative route: Rushmere Ln, Lycome Rd, Ashley Green Rd, Chesham Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water mains renewal works commence on 17 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Penn Rd, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Penn Rd for approx. 31M.

Alternative route: B474, A404, A40, B474 and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 25 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(North Drive, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in North Drive for approx. 10M.

Alternative: North Drive, Wycombe End and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas works to assist with works on Wycombe End commence on 25 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Elm Ln, Bourne End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Elm Ln for approx. 81M.

Alternative route: Marlow Rd, Hawks Hill, Harvest Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a BT pole replacement works commence on 27 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Hare Ln, Little Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hare Ln for approx. 252M.

Alternative route: Windsor Ln, Copes Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst gas mains replacement works commence on 15 September 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 September 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Orchard Ln, Prestwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Orchard Ln for approx. 48M.

Alternative route: Honor End Ln, High St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement works commence on 1 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Coldmoorholme Ln, Well End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coldmoorholme Ln for approx. 85M.

The closure is required whilst tree cutting works commence on 26 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 26 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Skirmett Rd, Skirmett) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Skirmett Rd for approx. 355M.

Alternative route: Fingest Ln, Fingest Rd, Frieth Rd, Bovingdon Gr, Chalkpit Ln, Oxford Rd, West St, Henley Rd, Skirmett Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst water connection works commence on 30 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Coleshill Ln, Winchmore Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Coleshill Ln for approx. 168M.

Alternative route: Coleshill Rd, Whielden Hill, Magpie Ln, Amersham Rd, Sheepcotts Ln, Penn Rd, Tithe Barns Ln, Tithe Side, Marrods Bottom, Fagnall Ln, Coleshill Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst fire hydrant replacement works commence on 27 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Blackpond Ln, Farnham Royal) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Blackpond Ln for approx. 105M.

Alternative route: Fairfield Ln, Beaconsfield Rd, Templewood Ln, Frere Rd, Blackpond Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a linkbox is replaced commencing on 27 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Church Rd, Ln End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Rd for approx. 105M.

Alternative route: Church Rd, Finings Rd, Fingest Ln, Frieth Rd, Moorend Common and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Thames Water works commence on 28 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Church End, Newton Longville) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church End for approx. 37M.

Alternative route: Church End, Whaddon Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Anglian Water new connection works commence on 21 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bull Ln, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bull Ln for approx. 112M.

Alternative route: Bull Ln, Oxford Rd, West Common, South Side, Rickmansworth Rd, Station Approach, Oxford Rd, West Common, Bull Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement works commence on 23 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Nashdom Ln, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nashdom Ln for approx. 67M.

Alternative route: Nashdom Ln, Taplow Common Rd, Gore Rd, Dropmore Rd, Dorney Wood Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst water connection works commence on 29 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Pinewood Green, Iver) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Pinewood Green for approx. 373M.

Alternative route: Pinewood Green, Thorney Lane North, Thorney Lane South, Iver High St, Ashford Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst ducting works commence on 20 October 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 October 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath Nos. 2/2 & 2/3, Parish of Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath Nos 2/2 & 2/3, 10 metres either side of the railway track.

There is no alternative route. The closure is required in the interest of public safety due to risk of failure to vehicles befalling on the train track. The Order will come into operation on 7 October 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 1 year or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
