ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
FRANKLIN ROAD, WHITNASH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Installation of new water pipe.
Order Commences: 20 October 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 23 October 2025
Access & Diversion: Franklin Road, Heathcote Road, Tachbrook Road, Ashford Road, Landor Road, Moorhill Road and vice versa.

C22 NEW ROAD, NARROW LANE, ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Preston Road and High Cross Lane.
Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 21 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Back Lane, Shrewley Common, Old Warwick Road, Finwood Road, Mill Lane, New Road and vice versa.

PUBLIC CYCLE LANE, PARADE, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Cycleway closed to all traffic outside properties number 94 to 114.
Reason for Order: To enable works for new water connections.
Order Commences: 19 October 2025 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: No Diversion, cyclists to dismount.

PEACOCK LANE, SHREWLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to renew water mains.
Order Commences: 20 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 22 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

Order Effect: Road closed its entirety from its junction with Pound Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30 hrs.
Order Commences: 20 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Work to remove old water pipe.
Order Commences: 21 October 2025 for up to 18 months.

Access & Diversion: Willes Road, Radford Road, High Street, Lower Avenue, Spencer Street, Victoria Terrace, Parade, Clarendon Avenue, Kenilworth Road, Lillington Avenue, Binswood Street, Clarendon Square, Clarendon Place, Warwick Street and vice versa.

GORDON STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to replace existing telegraph pole. Order Commences: 4 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Gordon Street, New Street, Farley Street and vice versa.

HAMPTON ROAD, BUDBROOKE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable sluice valve renewal works.
Order Commences: 3 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hampton Road, Old School Lane and vice versa.

SOUTHLEA AVENUE, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside property number 28.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of a boundary box and water meter.
Order Commences: 6 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Kingsway, Edinburgh Crescent, Lee Road, Westlea Road, Southlea Avenue and vice versa.

ST CHADS ROAD, BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable repair/replacement of a manhole cover and frame.
Order Commences: 7 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: St Chads Road, Argyle Way, Church Lees, Mallory Road and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between 71 Bridge Street and the rear of 200A Emscote Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 5 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 November 2025.
Access & Diversion: Bridge Street and vice versa.

CHURCH LANE, BUDBROOKE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to renew water main.
Order Commences: 3 November 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 November 2025. Access & Diversion: Church Lane, Woodway Lane, Old Budbrooke Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (WATHEN ROAD AREA, WARWICK)
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to impose a 20-mph speed limit on the length of road mentioned in the Schedule below. The Order commences on the 20th of October 2025.
A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick and on the Council’s website: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwickdistrict
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
