ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
HIGH STREET, WILDEN 25 – 077
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Wilden.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate new supply and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 17:00hours from 27th October 2025 to 29th October 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via High Street, Ravensden Road, Church End, Church Hill, Renhold Road, Wilden Road, Polhill Arms Lane.
The reverse route applies.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 27th October 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Anglian Water Tel: 08457 145 145

LAVENDON ROAD HARROLD 25 – 076
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of, Lavendon Road Harrold.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway repairs and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:00 to 15:30 hours from 27th October 2025 to 31st October 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Harrold Road, Bedford Road, A428 Bedford Road, Bridge Street, High Street, Turvey Loop, Carlton Road, Turvey Road, The Causeway, Bridgend.
The reverse route applies.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bedford Road service road, Kempston.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate a fire hydrant repair and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 23:00 to 06:00 hours from 27th October 2025 to 28th October 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Pembroke Street, Bedford.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate pole renewal and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 11th November 2025 to 12th November 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via
Pembroke Street, Rosamond Road, York Street, Castle Road.
The reverse route applies.

BEDFORDSHIRE BOROUGH) (GREAT DENHAM: PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 8)
MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above Order, made on 02 October 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them a length of Public Footpath in the Parish of Great Denham to be numbered 8 in the Definitive Statement that commences where it has a junction with Footpath 6 Great Denham approximately 46 metres south-east of the property known as “43 Church End,” Biddenham at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0153/4972 then running in a western direction for approximately 293 metres to the public road known as “The Branston
Way” approximately 198 metres south-west of the property known as “47 Church End” Biddenham at OSGR TL 0124/4966.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge by appointment at Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford from 10am to 4pm on Weekdays (Bank and Public Holidays excepted). A copy of the Order as made and the Order Map have been placed and may be downloaded free of charge from the Bedford Borough Council Website. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent by email to
RightsofWay@bedford.gov.uk not later than Friday 28 November 2025 or be sent in writing to the Bedford Borough Council, Manager of Transport Operations, Room 436, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42 9AP. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are
withdrawn Bedford Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
