THE HAMPSHIRE (FORT NELSON OVERFLOW) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Friday 26th September 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 33, 35(1), 47, 122(1) and 122(2) of the Act, as amended by the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") and the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986; and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement Pay & Display parking at the off-street parking location at Fort Nelson in Portchester, subject to the following schedule:

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT:
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Friday 21st November 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.PATRICK BLOGG Director of Universal Services,
