RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION)

ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT No.33) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend “The Northamptonshire County Council (Various Roads, Northampton) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018” as specified in the Schedule below.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time (double yellow line) restrictions on the North West Relief Road (or as subsequently re-named) being the road extending eastwards from the roundabout of Harlestone Road and Sandy Lane, Harlestone, Northampton (NN5), as detailed in the Schedule.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the exact length of road to which it relates and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing the Order, may be:

MAKING REPRESENTATIONS OR OBJECTIONS

Any person wishing to object to, support, or make representations regarding the proposed Order must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which the objection or representation is made. Correspondence should be sent to Traffic Orders Section, Kier Highways, Highways Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northamptonshire, NN6 9BX, or by email to WNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk.

All objections or representations must be received no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice, being 6th November 2025.
