What is happening?

SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2017 (AMENDMENT NO. 49) ORDER 2025 (Order 51 of 2025) (PROPOSED ORDER)

Sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 7 of the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 as amended.

1. SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and any other enabling powers. The effects of the Order are set out below.

2. The Order would introduce shared use: resident parking / free short term parking, 30 minutes maximum stay with no return within 1 hour parking places operating between 8am and 7pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive along the flank wall of Nos. 250/252 High Street, and introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating on all days and at all times adjacent to No. 1a Elmhurst Road. 

3. Properties eligible for the issue of permits are set out in the Schedule below.

R1 Elmhurst Road, Langley North side: 
Odd numbers only 1a, 1 to 33 inclusive, 33a, 35 to 47 
inclusive
South side:
Even numbers only 2a, 2 to 48 evens inclusive


4. Copies of the proposed Order, this notice and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected free of charge at the Council’s offices during normal working hours (excluding bank and public holidays). They may also be inspected on the Council’s website at 
https://www.slough.gov.uk/consultations-petitions/public-notices-orders/3.

5. Anyone wishing to object to the proposed Order may do by writing to the address below or emailing 
Parking.Consultations@slough.gov.uk. The objection must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, and must be sent so as to arrive no later than three weeks from the date of this Notice.
