NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO INSTALL A SHARED USE FOOTWAY/CYCLEWAY
ROMAN ROAD, NEW SANDY LANE AND BERRYWOOD ROAD,
NORTHAMPTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Sections 65 and 66 of the Highways
Act 1980 that West Northamptonshire Council proposes to authorise the
construction of a shared use footway/cycleway at the location detailed in
the Schedule below.
Details of the proposal may be inspected on the Council’s website at
www.westnorthants.gov.uk  and at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northamptonshire, NN6 9BX, by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 01604 529700 during normal office hours.

North of Harpole village and West of Duston at OS grid reference 469950, 262100. New length of shared footway/cycleway to be installed from entrance of proposed development site, running along northern side of Roman Road
before crossing over on the northern arm of the existing roundabout with New Sandy Lane, before joining an existing shared footway/cycleway on the northern side of Berrywood Road. A new section of approximately 821 metres
of shared use footway/cycleway to be installed from entrance of proposed development site, running along northern side of Roman Road before crossing over on the northern arm of the existing roundabout with New Sandy Lane, before joining existing shared footway/cycleway on northern side of Berrywood Road
