What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BRAUNSTON WAY, DAVENTRY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Braunston Way, Daventry as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Braunston Way, Daventry from Drayton Way to Prospect Way.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd November 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Eastern Way, Northern Way and Drayton Way.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HINTON ROAD, WOODFORD HALSE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hinton Road, Woodford Halse as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hinton Road, Woodford Halse from entrance to Gravel Farm Barn to Hinton Manor Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Station Road, School Street, Church View, School Street, Scrivens Hill, Byfield Road and Phipps Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BANBURY ROAD, BODDINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Banbury Road, Boddington as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Banbury Road, Boddington from Hill Road to Claydon Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the replacement of a stop tap.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Welsh Road and Warwick Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BANBURY ROAD, BODDINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Banbury Road, Boddington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Banbury Road, Boddington from the junction of Hill Road, Boddington to Blacksmiths Lane, Aston Le Walls.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the decommission of a water main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th October 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 15 weeks.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A361, Boddington Road, Byfield Road and Warwick Road.
