ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Bryanston Avenue, Twickenham

(Reference 25/172)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Bryanston Avenue, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Bryanston Avenue, Twickenham outside and opposite numbers 12-16.

3. Whilst Bryanston Avenue, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Bryanston Avenue, Ryecroft Avenue, Montrose Avenue, Strathearn Avenue and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 13 October 2025. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 13 October to 15 October 2025 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Cresswell Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cresswell Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cresswell Road, Twickenham from the junction with Richmond Road to outside number 1 Cresswell Road, Cresswell Road will become two-way and also Denton Road will become two-way from the junction with Cambridge Road to the junction with Cresswell Road.

3. Whilst Cresswell Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Richmond Road, Cambridge Road, Denton Road and Cresswell Road.

4. The order will come into effect on 20 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 20 October to 23 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hanworth Road, Whitton.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Hanworth Road, outside and opposite numbers 634–646.

3. The order will come into effect on 13 October 2025. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 13 October 2025 to 15 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Holly Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Holly Road, Twickenham outside numbers 106–112, Holly Road Twickenham will have two working from the junction with Queens Road to the junction with Copthall Gardens.

3. Whilst Holly Road, Twickenham is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Queens Road, Station Road, & Copthall Gardens.

4. The order will come into effect on 21 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 October to 23 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial water works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Nightingale Road, Hampton.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Nightingale Road, Hampton from outside numbers 40 to 44 Nightingale Road.

3. Whilst Nightingale Road, Hampton is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Acacia Road, Hanworth Road and vice versa.

4. The order will come into effect on 21 October 2025. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 October to 22 October 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Vincam Close, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to remove obstructive parking and due to the likelihood of danger to the public, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Vincam Close, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the Order is in effect, waiting restrictions operating at any time will operate in lengths of the southern side of Vincam Close, and around the cul-de-sac. Footway parking will be permitted in marked bays.
