Highfield View Road, Newbold - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HIGHFIELD VIEW ROAD, NEWBOLD
WHEN: 03 November to 07 November 2025
(09:00 to 16:00 each day).
WHERE: Highfield View Road, Newbold
between its Jct. with Malson Way to its Jct. with
Tapton View Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing
works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Tapton View Road,
Gloucester Avenue, Gloucester Road and vice
versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
