What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, PROW 15 and PROW 38, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst development works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 14/7/25. The following footpaths are affected: PROW 15, Newport from its jcn with PROW 38 to its jcn with The Folly. PROW 38, Newport in its entirety.
The original duration was 6 months with an end date 14/1/26. These closures have been extended and are now expected to be completed by the 30/4/27. Alternative routes will be signed on site.
