BRIGHT STREET & HAMBLETON AVENUE,
NORTH WINGFIELD

WHEN: 04 November to 10 November 2025 (08:00 - 18:00)
WHERE: Bright Street, North Wingfield for 65m north from the Jct. of Hambleton Avenue. Hambleton Avenue, North Wingfield for 70m west from the Jct. of Bright Street
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bright Street's diversion route - Draycott Road, Chesterfield Road, St Lawrence Road, Bright Street and vice versa. Hambleton Avenue's diversion route - Bamford Avenue, New Street, Station Road, A6175 St Lawrence Road, Bright Street and vice versa
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
