Greyhound Roundabout, Greyhound Hill, First Avenue, Telford - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Greyhound Roundabout, Greyhound Hill, First Avenue, Ketley Bank, Holyhead Road, Oakengates, Holyhead Road, Snedshill and Queensway Dual Carriage Brookside To Trench Lock (Slip Roads only) Telford (Temporary Prohibition
of Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, in order to
undertake highway improvement works. The order becomes operational from the
27/10/25.
The following roads are affected: Greyhound Rbt, Ketley Bank in its entirety. Greyhound Hill, Ketley Bank from its jcn with Greyhound Rbt for approx.
90m in a westerly direction. First Ave, Ketley Bank from its jcn with Greyhound Hill for approx. 40m in a southerly direction. Holyhead Road, Oakengates from its jcn with Greyhound Rbt for approx. 20m in a south westerly direction. Holyhead Road, Snedshill from its jcn with Greyhound Rbt for approx. 70m in a north easterly direction. Queensway Dual Carriage Brookside To Trench Lock (Slip Roads only) Telford N/B and S/B off slips. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 7/11/25.
