What is happening?


SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.30) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 16 October 2025 Sheffield City Council made the above Order which comes into operation on the 20 October 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

Disabled Persons Badge Holders Parking Places (24 hours) on parts of Bellhouse Road, Chesterfield Road, Firth Park Road, Newlyn Road and Ridgeway Road
No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Firth Park Road, Newlyn Road and Ridgeway Road

And remove:

Free Parking Places Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 1 hour no return for 3 hours on parts of Bellhouse Road and Firth Park Road
Free Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 2 hours no return for 2 hours on parts of Ridgeway Road
Free Parking Place Monday to Saturday 08:00-18:30 max stay 3 hours no return for 3 hours on parts of Chesterfield Road

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of the 20 October 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
