What is happening?


SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 2025

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL
(KING STREET) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES)
(MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

Loading Bay At All Times on part of Haymarket.
Taxi Rank Bay, No Stopping Except Taxis 10:00 to Midnight on part of Haymarket.
No Waiting Midnight to 10:00 on part of Haymarket.
No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Haymarket and King Street
Pedestrian and Cycle Zone on part of King Street, with exemption for access to premises, loading and unloading.
Pedestrian and Cycle Zone on part of King Street, with access for loading 18:00- 10:00 and Permit Holders.
No Loading 10:00 to 18:00 on part of King Street.
Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (no exemptions) on part of King Street.
And remove:

Taxi Rank Bay 10:00 to Midnight on part of Castle Street.
No Waiting At Any Time on part of Haymarket.
No Waiting 08:00 to 20:30 on part of King Street.
No Loading Mon to Sat 08:00 to 18:30 on part of Haymarket.

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by 13 November 2025.
