What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HALL STREET, BILSTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Hall Street in both directions from its junction with The Orchard to its junction with Wood Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 23:45 on 27 October 2025 until 05:45 on 28 October 2025.
The diversion route is: Oxford Street, Oxford St Island, Black Country Route (westbound), Coseley Road Island and Black Country Route (Eastbound)
The Order is required to facilitate EE Ltd to install a new telecoms pole.
